Kemarin siang, iseng scroll Instagram. Sebuah carousel dari @okkisusanto menarik perhatian saya.
Slide pertamanya berisi gambar hitam putih dengan sosok Puan Maharani di podium, dan tulisan besar yang menohok: “Jika 90% Pejabat Diganti AI, Indonesia Akan Tetap Baik-baik Saja. Iya Gak? Mari kita tanya ChatGPT!”
Seketika pikiran saya nge-recall wawancara Sam Altman dari OpenAI yang pernah saya tonton. Disitu Altman mengulik tentang Lima Level Evolusi AI di acara T-Mobile Capital Markets Day 2024.
Altman mendefinisikan tingkat-tingkat kecerdasan buatan (AI), memberikan kerangka kerja untuk memahami perkembangan kemampuan AI.
Tingkat 1: Chatbot, AI dengan kemampuan bahasa percakapan
Tingkat 2: Penyelaras, mampu memecahkan masalah pada tingkat manusia
Tingkat 3: Agen, sistem yang dapat mengambil tindakan
Tingkat 4: Inovator, AI yang dapat membantu dalam penemuan
Tingkat 5: Organisasi, AI yang dapat melakukan pekerjaan sebuah organisasi.
Pertanyaan di carousel itu, walau terkesan provokatif, sebenarnya menyentuh inti dari AI Agents.
Kita seringkali membayangkan AI hanya sebatas chatbot yang bisa membalas pesan (respon) atau membuat puisi. Padahal itu level pertama dari evolusi AI (Level 1: Chatbots, dan mungkin sedikit Level 2: Reasoners).
Bayangkan begini: jika AI biasa itu seperti asisten pribadi yang menunggu perintah kita satu per satu, AI Agents ini lebih mirip manajer proyek yang kita beri tugas, punya tujuan akhir, lalu dia akan mencari sendiri cara terbaik untuk mencapainya.
Dia bisa memutuskan kapan harus memakai “alat” apa – entah itu mengakses database, menganalisis data keuangan, atau bahkan berinteraksi dengan sistem lain. Dia punya “otak” untuk memecahkan masalah secara dinamis, bukan sekadar mengikuti instruksi yang sudah diprogram mati.
Ini yang disebut Level 3: AI Agents.
Nah, ketika carousel itu bicara tentang mengganti 90% pejabat, kita sudah meloncat jauh ke level yang lebih tinggi lagi.
Ada level ke-4: Innovators (AI yang bisa membantu penemuan) dan yang paling puncak, level ke-5: Organizations (AI yang bisa melakukan pekerjaan sebuah organisasi).
Mengganti pejabat pemerintah, yang pekerjaannya melibatkan pengambilan keputusan kompleks, perumusan kebijakan, hingga pengelolaan jutaan warga, itu adalah definisi nyata dari pekerjaan sebuah organisasi.
Jika AI bisa melakukan itu, artinya AI tersebut adalah Agen yang sangat canggih, yang mampu bekerja layaknya sebuah entitas organisasi.
Jadi, pertanyaan “Jika 90% Pejabat Diganti AI, Indonesia Akan Tetap Baik-baik Saja. Iya Gak?” bukan lagi sekadar pertanyaan iseng. Ini adalah refleksi mendalam yang jauh melampaui tentang sejauh mana potensi Agen AI bisa mengubah lanskap pemerintahan dan masyarakat kita.
Tentu, ada segudang tantangan seperti etika, keamanan, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas yang harus dijawab. Namun, satu hal yang pasti: AI sudah bukan lagi sekadar alat pasif.
Ia sedang berevolusi menjadi agen yang aktif, dan kita perlu mulai membayangkan dunia di mana “mereka” mungkin akan memegang peran yang jauh lebih besar dari sekadar menjawab pertanyaan random untuk crush sebelum PDKT.
